Ordination and ministry license is a benefit of membership it cannot be bought! Chaplain Fellowship Ministries only provides ordination and ministry license for our members only. Life experiences are vital and very important in the life of a chaplain and will always be taken into consideration. For that reason we place a lot of value on life experiences. As a ministry we understand that only GOD ordains, we simply recognizes what God has already done and provide our members with the legal documentation and credentials needed to satisfy the laws and requirement of the public at large. 1. MEMBERSHIP ONLY: This option is for partners, friends and members of CFMI affiliate subordinate ministries. All members except the president and founder of an affiliate subordinate ministry are required to be at least members. The president and founder of an affiliate subordinate ministry is required to be a Senior or Master chaplain in good standing with CFMI. For application. 2. BASIC CHAPLAIN: If you have little or no experience in ministry this option may be the best option for you. In order to be recognized as a legally ordained and licensed minister and chaplain you must be a member in good standing with the ordaining body who ordained you. Ordination and ministry license is a benefit of membership, it cannot be bought! REGISTERED CHAPLAIN: Many volunteer and paid chaplains must show proof each year that they are registered and members in good standing with their endorsement and ordaining body, meaning, church or ministry. Most agencies or organizations today want to know that chaplains and ministers are being held accountable for their actions, the days of the lone ranger chaplain or minister in ministry are over. Applicants applying for membership as a registered chaplain must submit a valid copy of their specialized training in chaplaincy and their educational background with their application.

4. SENIOR CHAPLAIN: To be a senior chaplain the applicant must have 24 months of experience in their existing field of ministry. For an example, in order to be a senior chaplain in prison ministry, the applicant must have 24 months experience in prison ministry. If you feel like you qualify but are not sure, you may request to speak to a senior staff member who will be happy to assist you. Applicants applying for this option must provide a copy of their current ordination documentation and all training certificates and certifications with their application. For application! 5. SENIOR CHAPLAIN 2: The same as option 3 with the exception the applicant also receives uniform patches, shirt and cap patches, clip on ID card, Lapel Pin for shirt or coat and chaplain windshield decal.
