Marriage
ministries are one of the most rewarding ways to raise funds
for your church or outreach ministry. There are untold numbers
of couples that want to be married, but can not find a church
to marry them. Most of the churches today will not marry
a couple unless they are members of their congregation.
You
can perform marriage ceremonies in gardens, back yards,
by lakes, parks, I know a biker chaplain that performs ceremonies
while riding on the back of a chopper with the couple riding
choppers behind him. There is no limit to where you can
perform ceremonies that will make the couple's wedding one
to always remember. I have performed ceremonies in what
some would call very strange places, but I have enjoyed
every one of them. I have always felt that each ceremony
I perform is one more couple that has been brought out of
living in sin and put back on the right track in the Lords
Word.
You
might want to consider having several people in your ministry
ordained as chaplains or ministers. That way you can take
advantage of all the opportunities that your ministry gets.
Starting a marriage ministry can bring a very good income
for your regular ministry.
Advertising:
Run your advertising in your local paper. If you have thrifty
nickel or penny saver they work real well. A small ad will
work just fine. Advertising your church or ministries fund
raising projects you should always take advantage of all
opportunities to pass out literature about your church and
ministry at fund raising projects. This will help your church
or ministry to grow and lead others to Christ.

with personalized and caring ceremonies which reflect who
they are; Chaplains take into consideration the couple's

are designed around the couple with their needs in mind;
chaplains believe in diversity and honor the couple's wishes
within reason. They respect the individualism of those seeking
to be united in marriage. Chaplains are Nondenominational
Interfaith and are not judgmental, they have the greatest
respectful for the traditions of marriage.
