Galatians 6: 9-10 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.

No one likes to talk about anything in the ministry or church that deals with the financial needs. Right off the bat everyone pictures mega bucks preacher in their minds flying around the world in million dollar jets. I have heard remarks such as, pray to God and send the money to me. Such comments and such ministries make it very hard on small ministries that are really trying to make a difference in the world we live in today where real people need real help. Chaplain Fellowship is a real simple and humble ministry, and the truth is we have to address the subject no matter how much we hate to, if we don't Chaplain Fellowship Ministries will not survive. The only financial help Chaplain Fellowship Ministries receives is from new members applications and donations from some of our devoted and loyal members who believe in the Lord's vision for the future advancement of His Kingdom Work within this ministry.

Christianity does not require people to disregard their reason, or to be gullible. It does not expect us to believe anything because others say it is true. We are not expected to blindly swallow whatever we are told. True Christianity, more than any other faith, encourages free and honest examination. It leads people to understand the reason behind the teachings of Jesus Christ. Chaplain Fellowship Ministries is a very real ministry with very real needs and does have a proven record in the kingdom work that we do.

1. Administrative Cost: Each year the cost of office supplies and office equipment becomes more and more expensive due to ministry growth and the rising cost of gas, supplies and equipment. These cost have to be meet if Chaplain Fellowship Ministries is to survive. Chaplain Fellowship Ministries does have one full time office employee on payroll. All the other office staff including the members of leadership are volunteers who work countless hours every week seven days a week 365 days a year on a regular basis. One day the Lord will send others who have been blessed to help in mighty ways, until He does, we will continue to do the best that we can with what we have. We thank God every day for all the blessings we do received. We believe through prayer that the Lord will one day touch the hearts of others who can see the work we do, and the vision the Lord has given his ministry for the future advancement of His Kingdom work.

2. The Needy: b>One of the major functions of all churches and ministries SHOULD be to reach out when we have the means and help all those who are in need. It is the vision of Chaplain Fellowship Ministries that one day by the grace of God we will be blessed to be able to help families all over the United States who have lost everything in fires, natural disasters, sickness, auto accidents, reaching out to help women and children of domestic violence, to help senior citizens who have to make a decision between medication or food each month. Chaplain Fellowship Ministries has always done what we can to help in any way possible when people in need have come to us with no where else to turn. It is always heart breaking when there is nothing left to help with. There are many reasons families at times find themselves with no where to turn, or no one to turn to. When they turn to God in prayer, God sends those He has called to help in any way that they can. We believe in the Word of God with all our hearts, and we know without a doubt from experience that He always keeps His word.

Pro 11:25- 31- Be generous, and you will be prosperous. Help others, and you will be helped. Those who are good are rewarded here on earth, so you can be sure that wicked and sinful people will be punished. (I believe this with all my heart because I have seen it in the ministry and in my own personal life, and lives of others).

3. Chaplain's relief fund: The Chaplains of Chaplain Fellowship Ministries give so much, to so many others, with so little who are in need and suffering on a daily basis. From time to time our chaplains find themselves in financial trouble and they have no where to turn. Some loose their jobs, some times their transportation brakes down, their children get sick, some do not have what is needed just to get by at times. There are many things that can go wrong, and do go wrong, each year. Chaplain Fellowship Ministries has always tried very hard to be there for our members during their time of need. The needs each year rise as the our membership rises. Please keep in mind, Chaplains and their families are only human, they are not perfect, and have problems just like everyone else. Please keep our chaplains in your prayers.

4. Funds for Deployments: Chaplain Fellowship Ministries has always deployed as many chaplains as possible to disaster areas to work with people who have lost everything, counseling in crisis situations, working with first responders and Law Enforcement officers. Chaplain Fellowship has deployed chaplains to, New York During 911, the space shuttle crash, hurricanes Katrina and Rita, the wild fires in Texas, The shooting at Virginia Tech. Most of these deployments are what we in the ministry call hardship deployments, which means the chaplains have to use their own funds to deploy. Just two of the CFMI chaplains who were deployed during Katrina and Rita counseled over eighty Law Enforcement officers, Firefighters and FBI agents in two weeks that were trying to deal with the stress and trauma that they were subjected to on a daily basis in New Orleans. Other chaplains worked with people and children who had lost family members, their home and everything they had. Chaplain Fellowship Ministries needs the funding to help chaplains deploy in the future when disasters strike.

5. Funds for training: We are always trying to raise funds needed to help pay for Crisis and Ministry Training for all the chaplains who need to expand their knowledge for the ministries they are involved in. Furthermore Chaplain Fellowship Ministries hopes and prays that one day we will be able to offer scholarships for degree programs that chaplains need to advance in ministry, chaplaincy programs and Kingdom Work. Chaplain Fellowship Ministries does believe that in specialized ministries chaplains do need to have the proper training for those ministries.

Psalm 41:1-3, Blessed is he who considers the poor; the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble. The Lord will preserve him and keep him alive, and he will be blessed on the earth; You will not deliver him to the will of his enemies. The Lord will strengthen him on his bed of illness; You will sustain him on his sickbed. ( I had a major heart attack in 2000 on a friday afternoon. I walked out of the hospital 3 hours after the attack, the doctor and nurses told Tina and I that I would not live until monday. Well I am sitting here typing this, and it is 2007! So you can bet I believe in this one, PRAISE GOD!).

Over the years we have heard hundreds of stories that leave no doubts that the Lord does keep His word no matter what. It does not matter what your religious beliefs may be, the Word of God is true and He never lets us down. This should not be the major reason for being kind and giving. Yet God, who is ever ready to give and bless, has of His own will inspired these words for our benefit, so we understand that our efforts in glorifying Him and His way in His ministry does not go unnoticed. It is a promise we know He will keep when we find ourselves in a bind. He who enabled us to be kind and generous to others in their time of need will respond by providing us a helper in our time of trouble and need.

Luke 6:38 Jesus says, Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you. ( I think if you could talk to some of our chaplains about this one you would be amazed just how true it is, The Lord does not lie, and He does keep His word).

Many people will tell you that a ministry having a 501 (c) 3 does not mean anything, that is not true, it means a ministry or church is held accountible for their actions. The IRS does not tell us what to do with Gods' money when it come to Kingdom Work, but I can assure you they watch for those who abuse the trust of a ministries donors. Chaplain Fellowship Ministries believes that accountibility and credibility are very inportant when people are putting their hard earned money into a ministry that claims to be doing Kingdom Work. Chaplain Fellowship has one of the largest CPA firm in our area that takes care of our 990 and all the required forms needed for reporting to the the Internal revenue service each year. We have used BGMN- Brockway, Gersbach, Mckinnon & Niemeier, P.C. in Temple Texas for the last three years. Please do not let people tell you that these things are not important, they are very important, ministries have to be held accountable for their action, or for their abuse of trust that people have put in them. If you have a prayer request please visit our prayer request page! If you give the music time to load, we believe you will be blessed.

Psalm 107:28-30: Then in their trouble they called to the LORD, and he saved them from their distress. 29 He calmed the raging storm, and the waves became quiet. 30 They were glad because of the calm, and he brought them safe to the port they wanted.
