Chaplain
Bruce Francis is the Vice President of Chaplain Fellowship Ministries
International, Inc. Dr. Francis also serves as a Member of the Chief
Chaplains Governing Board of Directors and a Senior Bishop of Trinity
Full Gospel Church of Oklahoma. He is Founder and President of Chaplain
Fellowship Ministries of Oklahoma as well as Founder and Senior
Pastor of Divine Life Christian Ministries in Oklahoma City. Dr.
Francis offers professional services in the following areas: Spiritual
Guidance, One on One Counseling, Weddings, and Hospital and Convalescent
Home visitation and Home Fellowship. Dr. Francis has served as a
member of the ministerial and leadership staff with New Covenant
Worship Center, a nondenominational church located in Oklahoma City,
and has held many positions within the church organization. Dr.
Francis completed his studies through seminary in California and
was ordained as a Minister working with several ministries within
California and Oklahoma. Continuing his studies, Dr. Francis was
ordained as a Reverend and was later elevated to the position of
Bishop by St. Thomas-a-Becket Synod and University in Canterbury
England. As a Chaplain Dr. Francis became ordained as a nondenominational
minister and chaplain because he believes that we must be all things
to all people.
SPECIFIED TRAINING & CERTIFICATIONS: Certified
Anger Management Facilitator, Certified Domestic Violence Facilitator,
Certified in Complex Family Issues, Certified Restorative Therapist,
Certified in Pastoral Crisis Intervention, Certified Chemical Dependency
Counselor, Certified Anger Management Specialist, Certificate of
completion in Evangelism, Certified Pastoral Counselor, Certified
in Compassion Fatigue, Certified Crisis Chaplain, Certified Military
Liaison Chaplain, Certified Cultural Competency, Certified Trauma
and Trauma Informed Care.
RELIGIOUS COUNSELOR Dr. Francis is recognized as
a Pastoral, Behavioral, Marital and Family counselor by the State
of Oklahoma when acting within the scope of his duties as a member
of the clergy and is in good standing with his ministry, and complies
with Oklahoma State Department of Health (Title 59 of the Oklahoma
Statues, Licensed Professional Counselor Act, Section 1903, Licensed
Marital and Family Therapist Act, Section 1925.3 and Licensed Behavioral
Practitioner Act, Section 1932).
HONORS RECEIVED: Title of Elevation to Bishop, St. Thomas-a-Becket,
Canterbury England, 2003. Received the President's Call to Service
Award in 2003 from President George W. Bush.
As Chaplains, we are here to serve and support by invitation. We
serve in three specific areas: emotionally, relationally, and spiritually.
We are Caregivers. Our Caregivers have four components: Compassion,
Acceptance, Reflection and Encouragement. Please
keep our Chaplains and their families in prayer, they are only human,
and they have problems like everyone else.
