Chaplain Rachael L. Gutierrez checked in from Prishtina, Kosovo: This is Chaplain Rachael Gutierrez writing you from Europe. I have been here for quiet sometime now serving God in the Muslim community, trying to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The reason for this e-mail is that I know my membership is long over due but I have not been able to renew because of my stay here in Prishtina, Kosovo. I will be returning to the USA in about two months and I was wondering if it would be okay at that time if I renew my membership? Please do not remove me from my family at Chaplain Fellowship Ministries. Great things have been happening here and the Lord is changing many lives in the Muslims community here. If you can, please reply to this e-mail and let me know if I can renew my membership when I get home. I do not want to lose my rights of endorsement as a Chaplain with Chaplain Fellowship Ministries. I will handle everything as soon as I step foot on America soil. First, though I must kiss the soil!!!!!!!!! LOL! Everyone here in Kosovo sends many greetings your way. They now understanding what a chaplin is. I embrace all people here and have made many new and wonderful friends. We have quiet a few Christians here but there are more Muslims than Christians and my work here is very vital for God's kingdom. Of course Satan has did his best to hinder the ministry. First, I broke my knee and ended up in the worst hospital in the history of the universe! Never get sick overseas is my newest motto! Well, praise God, I am well now and raring to continue the work God has ordained for my life. Please keep me in your prayers and I will be praying for everyone there. I love you all and may God bless you in all His endeavors! I pray I will be able to attend the conference this year. Until then - may God bless and keep you always. Please reply soon. Love Eternal in Christ, Chaplain Gutierrez. Note from the home office: Chaplain Fellowship automatically renews member's membership when they are serving out of the country. Please keep Chaplain Gutierrez in your prayers. Chaplain Gibson & Chaplain Francis

Chaplain Ronald Neeley checked in from Arizona: Greetings in His Name from Southeast Arizona! Since joining CFMI in February, the Lord has blessed A4C Ministries with a wonderful & spiritual journey in healthcare. I thought things would start off somewhat slowly, but as Chaplain Gibson told me in a conversation, sometimes the Lord has other plans! I now have regular chaplain duties at assisted-living homes in the area (with another recently added on), a nursing/long term care facility, & hospice. Additionally, I live near Fort Huachuca & being retired military, I am engaged in an outreach program with the Army. My ministry contact information is eaglea4c@gmail.com God Bless! Chaplain Ron Neeley
Chaplain Jeffrey Broom checked in from North Carolina: Chaplain Gibson and the board of directors. Thank you for the appointment as State Director of North Carolina. It is truly an honor to serve CFMI in this position. I received the package containing the patches, pins, etc. I'm looking forward to getting my uniforms ready to go. I have a really great testimony already as to how being a Chaplain helped me have access to a County Jail in Canton, Georgia. The Lord truly opened a supernatural door for me there and I had the privilege of witnessing the Spirit of God move upon a mans heart and bring him to a place of renewal and rededication. It is fantastic be a part of the Lord's work. Also I would like to personally thank the board for ordaining my wonderful wife, Chaplain Amanda (Robin) Broom. She will be serving as one of the Spiritual Directors for an upcoming Walk to Emmaus retreat in May. She will also be leading a team of women on the 1st Annual "Seeds of Love" Women Conference to the Navajo Indian reservation in Gallup, New Mexico (June 9-16). The Lord is faithful. Once again, thank for your support and encouragement. I will be contacting you soon for further guidance. May the Lord richly bless you and the ministry of CFMI, Chaplain Jeffrey Broom
Chaplain John Butler checked in from North Carolina: Things have been going steady upward in ministry since January. Support has been off, but God has made a way for me for 31 years. Was offered the position of being the uniformed branch of CFMI called Chaplain Fellowship Chaplains Corps. which I accepted. to visit the Chaplain's Corps, web site. Have been steady visiting the sick as a hospital chaplain and work as deputy commander with another chaplain group. Have been teaching Red Cross shelter operations and also serving NLVFD as their chaplain. been to serveral brush fires in the past months and accidents as their chaplain. God has worked some miracles in the lives I've been honored to visit at the hospital. One young man's heart stopped and God has brought him through to beging to recover. Got to walk with the cross here in eastern North carolina before easter and got in the news and they also did a video clip. You just never know who you are witnessing to. People are starting to come aboard our new chaplains Corps. No charge for membership or background check for members of CFMI. I want to thank all of you for letting me be a part of Chaplain Fellowship Ministries.
Chaplain Michael Smith checked in from Michigan: I have performed my first wedding and have preached twice - once in a homeless shelter and at a jail transitional housing ministry. I have also completed my Forgotten Man Ministry Training and am at a conference in Lansing for helping ex-offenders transition to the outside through Prison Fellowship. Currently I am awaiting approval for the Livingston County Jail to help perform services on Sundays. Please feel free to contact me if I can be of service. Chapain Michael Smith
Chaplain Lee Hagwood checked in from FT Bragg NC: I received an invitation to participate in the roundtable discusion and Share my views about one of my passions, fatherhood. I did not realize the depth of impact that this deployment had on my family until I returned. When I read my youngest son's two page letter, it brought tears to my eyes because he and my family did not want me to worry about homefront issues. Their support towards me since I have returned has been awesome and theraputic towards my redeployment recovery. Being deployed has given me a greater appreciation towards our military and civilian personnel who serve in both OIF & OEF. The support that I see here at Ft Bragg as an active duty post for families of deployed personnel is wonderful. However, I am concerned about those families who live in rural areas far from an installation like Ft Bragg. I do suspect that these needs and issues will become increased as more national guard and reserve soldiers continue to make up 50% of the deployments. Chaplain Captain Lee Hagwood

Congratulations to Chaplain Angel Knight C.D.V.F: Chaplain Knoght has completed the Domestic Violence Skills Training Facilitator Certification Course "C.D.V.F.Congratulations Chaplain Knight! Chaplain Donald Gibson, Chaplain Bruce Francis,
Chaplain Tommy Davis Checked in from New York: Hello Everyone, This is just a small note to inform you of a recent opportunity that I have accepted. After a lengthy process and the successful completion of placement training in Richmond, Virginia I will be installed as a full time civil chaplain at the Monroe County Jail and Monroe Correctional Facility in Rochester NY on May 1st. I am honored to be employed by the Good News Jail and Prison Ministry in this regard. It is my desire to contribute to the true transformation of the inmate and provide administrative and spiritual support to staff. As we are aware, there seems to be a lack of reform within the criminal justice system. This deficiency is not from ill intent by the government. This is a spiritual problem that must be confronted by the church. Thus, I submit my will to the Lord to serve Him in this capacity –correctional chaplaincy--- to bring true change in the lives of those who have offended society. This change only comes through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The license and endorsement of Chaplain Fellowship Ministries served as one of the qualifications for this position. I am thankful. Gracefully Yours, Chaplain Tommy Davis. Congratulation Chaplain Davis, Chaplain Gibson, Chaplain Francis
Chaplain McCarthy Checked in from Texas: Hello my dear brothers and sisters in Christ. As a faculty member within my school district I experience many different issues; these issues range from drugs, to violence to sexual promiscuity amongst our teens in addition to many dysfunctional homes that these children are raised in. I believe the area that I reside that God is moving by His spirit and as a chaplain my duty is to pray and seek God\'s face on these families behalf. I believe where I am in life is God\'s doing. I believe God to shake up this small town. And it begins with myself and so many others here that are in tune to the voice of God. I know within the public school district that we are to not talk about Christ and it is sad that we have to feel out one another before mentioning His name, but God is moving without a doubt and I will do my part which is to live by faith, pray, love without hypocrisy, and to share the gospel as I am able. Well said, thank you Chaplain McCarthy! Chaplain Gibson
Congratulations to Chaplain Bruce Francis CFMI Vice President: Congratulations to Chaplain Bruce Francis, C.D.V.F, C.A.M.F: Chaplain Francis has completed the Domestic Violence Skills Training Facilitator Certification Course \"C.D.V.F.\" along with the Anger Management Skills Training Facilitator Certification Course \"C.A.M.F\". Congratulations Chaplain Francis! Chaplain Donald Gibson and CFMI Staff

Chaplain Chris Bryer Checked in from California: Well I have been with Chaplain Fellowship for 7 years and have failed to keep updates coming to the home office. What was it John Lenon said? \"Life is what happens when everything else is going on\". My ministry in Healthcare has been going good, 40 plus hours a week and never a dull moment. I facilitate groups and work with most trauma patients that come in. God sure has used this job to bless me in a BIG way. My wedding ministry is not as large as it has been in years past, I have cut down on the number of weddings due to over booked schedules. I am now doing 10-15 wedding a year. I have started doing allot of seminars on Grief and Stress Management. I have and continue to develope what I call the Phoenix System. God has been blessing it and me with every person I see come closer to surviving. I have done these classes for the private sector large and small, government agencies, healthcare agencies, cancer centers, and in the school system. I am still doing some crisis management with the Fire Service/U.S. Forest Service, but working full time and being on call at a trauma center eats up a lot of my time, yet allows me to keep my skill sharpened. Be Blessed my fellow Chaplains.

We go to Nursing Homes and Assisted Living Homes each week. We have (4) we minister to. We could visit a lot of others ,but between the church, prisons and other churches we just do not have the time. I preach, sing, write songs and also write books. This keeps me busy for the Lord's work. I dedicate my life completely to God and His work. We will travel anywhere we are called to go and minister and sing His word. to view web site.

Chaplain Tom Page from Florida: Chaplain Fellowship Ministries has officially granted authorization to Rev. Neil Ashton as an ordination official representing CFMI for central Florida. After authorization was received by the Rev. Neil Ashton, an ordination ceremony took place in the Faith-Based Dorm of the Polk County Central jail at 3 PM. The inmates took part. On their own, they built an "alter" out of 2 garbage cans covered with a jail blanket to make an alter table where Neil could put his documents received, and the oil of anointing. Neil suited up in his black ministry robes with a long white prayer shawl and the documents provided by CFMI and it took place, behind bars, surrounded by inmates. After the ceremony, the vows, the anointing and laying-on-of-hands was performed, these inmates prayed for me. They prayed for Chaplain Tom Page, new chaplain guy! Retired Deputy/Detective Tom Page became Chaplain Tom Page, a new servant of Christ in so many ways. The biggest question they had was why did I want to have this done there, in a jail, with inmates? They said this was supposed to be done in a church with "normal people". They considered themselves to be unclean. I explained that church was the gathering of believers to worship and praise, NOT a structure. There was nobody more important to be there, than those who are served. Where 2 or more are gathered together in His name .... we had the Christ there! Ya can't beat that. I was the one who was unworthy. I saw grown men, hard-core inmates, with tears running down their cheeks. Many thanks to those who helped me get through this to meet the expectations of the Chaplaincy corps here at the Polk County Sheriff's Office. Keep me in your prayers that I may live up to the promises I have made. I am so blessed! Thanks again! Your servant, Chaplain Tom Page

Chaplain Smith reporting in from the Philippines: I have returned to the Philippines from Korea to rejoin my family. To the glory of God I was granted the privilege to preach in a Sunday morning service at a neighborhood church (though not our own), and invited to be a guest lecturer at a local seminary (I was allowed to share the C-Ed ministry with them - something they had never heard before), so praise God for that blessing. At this time, I am looking for a teaching position, in an English language school, or a college/university. I may have positions in both, Lord willing. I would also like to volunteer to teach part-time in a seminary if given the opportunity. Nevertheless, I intend to keep trying as God permits to visit schools, churches, and Bible schools to share what God has given me via the C-Ed ministry. Without the blessing of CFMI ordination and licensing, it would not be as credible, so again, I praise God for CFMI. Chaplain Jerry Smith, Costa Rica, Dasmarinas, Cavite Philippines - Chaplain Jerry Smith
Chaplain Ferguson reporting in from Texas: I have been working with the scouts as their Asst. Scoutmaster and merit badge counselor. I also serve as their field chaplain. This has been a 34 year ministry. I am waiting to find out when I'll become a Deacon in my church. I have been counseling on the side with the Pastoral Crisis Counseling certification. I am the Texas Commander Chaplain and Knight Commander, and received the order of merit III with the Order of Saint Isidore of Seville. The Lord has been using me in being a leader for the youth. The youth has been ministry and my calling. My 3 years in CFMI has been a blessing in my life. Take care & God bless - Chaplain Ferguson
Chaplain Monica Notzon reporting in from Arizona: For the past two years and odd months I have been in the mountains of Haiti. I have been ministering there, I opened a school of English and started a scholarship program to keep teens in school and offered job training in computers and graphic arts on the computer. I also focused on Women's Rights and Domestic violence . I had to leave Haiti due to my "controversial beliefs " that the kingdom of God was returning. Due to the indigenous religious beliefs, and the increasing threats on my life. Chaplain Monica Notzon
