Greetings:
Are we walking with the wise? Or are we walking with the fools?
Those who walks with the wise will grow with the wise, but those
who walk with fools will become a fool and suffers a life time
of failure. Proverbs 13:20-21 Walk with the wise and become wise;
associate with fools and get in trouble. 13:21 Trouble chases
sinners, while blessings reward the righteous. Do
we have wise men or wise women who we can trust and confide in
for good sound and wise biblical advice? It is through humility
and time that we gain discernment and wisdom. Wisdom comes from
walking with wise brothers and sisters, not dancing with fools.
Folks
we cannot kid ourselves, bad company can, and does corrupt good
people all the time. 1 Corinthians 15:33 - Don't be fooled by
those who say such things, for "bad company corrupts good
character. Instead, we must stand firm in our integrity. "For
it is God's will that by doing good we will silence the ignorant
talk and lies of foolish people" 1 Peter 2:15. Folks beware
of fools who talk fast but cannot back up their talk, in other
words do they walk the walk? They may be aware of what is right
and can talk the talk, but they always fail to walk the walk.
The Internet is full of false prophets and fools. They have no
integrity. Fools eventually destroy relationships, their foolish
behavior will come back to bite them; so avoid their influence.
What seems like innocent fun to them eventually hurts or destroys
honest people.
Folks
fools despise wisdom and discipline" (Proverbs 1:7). I can
promise you there are plenty of fools out there just waiting to
get angry or go off on you, if you listen or don't believe them.
Folks listen well, be wise, and stay in prayer. Ask God to bring
wise brothers and sisters into your life. Foolish people will
only bring you down, hold you down, or slow you down. We must
ask ourselves, do we walk with the wise. Or do we walk with the
fools? Are we growing in wisdom or failing with fools?"
A
wise ruler once said, Ecclesiastes 7:5 Better to be criticized
by a wise person than to be praised by a fool. Folks before anyone
says anything, please understand that we do not call anyone a
fool! Fools expose themselves so we must try to avoid them as
much as humanly possible. Members of leadership in ministry have
no choice but to go toe to toe with fools on a regular basis as
God always exposes them. Remember that each today is a gift from
God, always give Him thanks and make the most of it. Please do
not be a fool!
God
bless you and thank you for your time!
