Mission and Purpose Statement

Matthew 28:19-20 “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”

Chaplain Fellowship Ministries is a first responder crisis response and disaster relief ministry of presence that trains hard working real men and women worldwide as crisis response chaplains to respond wherever there is a crisis or disaster reaching. Train chaplains to reach out to first responders and those who are in need within the community at large.

One of the major functions of any church, ministry or faith based organizations SHOULD be to reach out when we have the means and help all those who are in need. It is our mission as a crisis response disaster relief ministry of presence to help first responders, Law enforcement, Fire & rescue, military, families in need, senior citizens and the community at large who are going through crisis in their lives or their communities.

Food Ministry for senior citizens and poor families: Chaplain Fellowship Ministries has been blessed to be able to help set up several food ministries across our nation that feed poor families and senior citizens on a regular basis.

Crisis Response Chaplains: To build an international network of crisis responders chaplains and emergency services chaplains to respond where ever disasters strike, such as hurricane Katrina, hurricane Rita, hurricane Ike, The Virginia Tech Shooting, The Fort Hood Terrorist Attack, the disaster in Haiti. CFMI Chaplains have responded to all of these Disasters and others. In order to accomplish this we must build a network of crisis response ministries enabling crisis chaplains to network with each other and share our resources.

Departmental Chaplains: To recruit and train chaplains to serve in Police Department, Fire Department, Federal and State Agencies, Nursing Homes, Hospitals, City and County Jails, Prisons, Drug Rehab Centers, Domestic Violence Shelters, Veterans Counseling Centers and Street Ministries. Police departments are starting to see and realize the value of having department chaplains. Chaplains trained in crisis intervention, anger management and domestic violence are a valuable assist to police and fire departments. Chaplains work with their officers, their families and within their communities.

Provide Anger Management and Domestic Violence Training: As we all know world events has caused a dramatic increase in problems with anger, domestic violence and growing crime in our communities and cities which has created a desperate need for training resources in how to manage stress, anger and domestic violence. Chaplain Fellowship has trained anger management and domestic violence facilitators who offer their services in a safe educational environment to active duty military personal, their families, veterans of all wars, law enforcement officers, federal agents, fire department and the community at large. Those who attend learn expressions of anger that are acceptable to society so that violence and self-destructive behavior can be avoided.

Liaison Chaplains: Build a network of trained liaison chaplains that will network with churches, pastors and members of their communities during crisis and disaster situations.

Chaplain Fellowship Ministries believes that chaplains must have the proper specialized training in order to respond to the public at large in specialized ministries. CFMI offers scholarships when possible for some of the training programs that chaplains need to respond to crisis and disasters within their communities.

Please never let anyone tell you that a few good people can't change the world. For in reality they are the only ones who ever have. The members of Chaplain Fellowship Ministries are making such changes every day.
